Water fun day

Today the 7th of february 2019 Glenbrae School had water fun day. Room 10 started at the water slide but it was only Kauri, Rata, Nikau and Kowhai that had to wait because it was only two groups at a time. After the water slide we went to walk the planks when we were there Nikau didn’t have a plank so they had to share with kauri. Pinomi and key had to get Nikau's plank and Kauri was happy because Nikau was slowing them down. I was happy because Kowhai bin was full and they had to get buckets so the water in kowhai bin couldn’t overflow. 

Then we went to the three legged race  we had to pair up and one person had to carry the water and the other just runs with them. I was paired up with Wuatai we both took turns I took two and he took two. When that finished we went to spongebob wet pants you had to soak the sponge and pass it over you then the other passes it under them then the last person had to run and squeeze all the water into the bin when I went to squeeze the sponge we were on our second buket.

Once the spongebob wet pants was over we went to the zig zag race.To play we pick up a cup with holes on the bottom and we zig zag around the cones and then tip the water that is left in the cup into the bin.

At the end they had to tip the water in the bin into little buckets. Kowhai had 7 nikau had 5 kauri had 5 and a half and rata had 6 and three quarters  I was so happy because we won and we got to swim for a bit longer than usual. After swimming we got changed into our uniform and we went to class and had a delicious iceblock. After that we enjoyed lunch time playing softball.
