Water fun day 2020
We were in our houses until we had to move to our class so we had to go against our classmates that are in the other houses. Then the teachers told us what we were going to do and what activities we were going to participate in.
Our first activity was the swimming pool. The teacher leading this activity was Mrs Kelly. It wasn’t really an activity we were just having fun but we had some rules in the pool.We weren't allowed to bomb, We weren’t allowed to dump other people, We weren’t allowed to hit each other. And we weren’t allowed to drown other people.
Our second activity was Water Bombs. The teacher leading this activity was Miss Smith and Miss Smith. Someone had to stand in front of the line and pass to the person in front of them and they had to pass it back to the person in front of the line then they had to run put the balloon in the bucket fill the cup with water and dump it into the bin.
The third activity was with Miss Kyee. We had to fill our big container or the little yogurt container and hop into the two hula hoops sprint to the cones and run up the hill then you pour the water into the bin.
Then we went to our fourth activity which was led by Mr Nath. There was a cup with four holes. We had to fill the cup and try not to waste all the water in the cup. If you have some water left you have to pour it into the bin. But we just covered the holes with our fingers so none of the water will spill out of the cup.
Then we went to the fifth activity with Mrs Atuahiva. It was the Slide.Everyone got a cup filled up with water then slid down the slide and poured the water into the bin. Everyone found ways to cheat like hitting other people's cups out of their hand also just walking down slowly trying not to slip up but I just walked up and sat down and I just slid slowly.
The last activity was SpongeBob led by Mrs Ripata. We had to dunk the sponge into the water then you pass it back under and over when the person at the end had to run to the bins and squeeze all the water out then you run back and it starts all over again.
When it was all done we all did our house chants. Then Mrs Tofa annaused the winning house in fourth place was Kohai. Third place was Kauri second place was Rata and first place was Nikau. We won. I felt amazing. I really enjoyed 2020´s Water fun day.

Having Fun In Kiwi Can
Positive relationship is our theme in Kiwi Can. We learnt about fair play which is our topic, for our energiser we played a game called 21 we had to split into two teams the boys team and the girls team the girls team won. The rules of this game areYou Cannot say more than 2 numbers, You Cannot tell someone what to say and Say your number loud and clear so everyone can hear
After that we talked about how you would feel if someone cheated. Then we had our activity it was human bowling we had to step outside for this activity again we had to spit into two teams the boys and girls team the rules to this game is that you cannot flinch, both feet planted on the ground and you can only roll the ball but we aren't aloud to throw the ball. Also the boys won.
Then we talked about fair play. Then the Kiwi Can leaders asked us questions about fair play. Since it was tied 1 to 1 we had to finish it off with a game called end of the road. The rules are you cannot shout the answer, you cannot help whom was asked the question. Sadly the girls won and the boys lost. Then we did catchphrase and lined up outside. I could tell everyone was feeling happy.
