Duffy Role Model Assembly

Hi there, i´m going to tell you about our Duffy Role Model Assembly we had in our school hall. We had three lovely young opera singers Filipe, Madison and Katherine. They loved reading books when they were little and they encouraged us to read. Katherine said every easter her mom hid the easter eggs behind books because Katherine's mother liked reading books and she would give them clues so they can find the easter egg. That's a good idea. At the end of assembly they handed out the books to each class. It was a cool assembly.

Making paper

This week we read about how a primary school students made paper from pieces of used paper..

I learned that making paper is hard to make and

it takes a long time to make paper.they use lots of Energy to make paper. they use lots of materials.They don't make it for nothing they used

It for lots of things like drawing,cards and shapes and lots of other stuff. That is all  for me today bye.

AIR POLLUTION

What surface did you wipe?

Me and soane wiped the dust and dirt.

2. What did you notice after you wiped the surface? Me and soane were like eww!

3.where did this dirt come from?

The dirt comes from this little tiny dust.

4.How does this affect us?

It will affect our lung’s.

Any Excuse

Once when sam came school he looked in his bag for his homework then he said what am i

going to do then his friend lou said what about  tell an excuse.

1.Jay said say that your  dog ate it that what my brother says .sam said i don’t have a dog.

2.Lou said  that your budgie flew away with it .

3.Nic said that a bunch of camels stampeded on it.

4.Lou said that when you finished  a gaint eagle snached it sam said there is not much gaint eagles around here.the end

swimming

,Hi guys today we were at the Glenbrae swimming pools i will tell  you about the 5 stuff  i

learned in the pool. By the way it’s the last day for the instructors at Glenbrae.

1.First we leant how to get in and out of the pool.

2.Next we got warmed up to get not that cold.

3.After that we grab  the bar and splashed all over the instructors.

4.Then we learnt how flout on our back like a starfish.

5.last we got our boards and we swimmed all the way to the ather side of the pools.

Duffy Theatre

Yesterday we had the Duffy theatre at glenbrae school our morning tea was at 11 o'clock but we had to have morning tea early because we had to be there by 11 o'clock that´s why we had morning tea early.when we were going to the hall it was raining when we got there they were signing up town funk then they told us the rules we had 3 rules but i can't remember the 3 rules and the characters were Duffy,maleficent and zelda and they did a play. they were doing a play about air pollution and they were telling us about a super hero was finished we went to class.

Once in one of the darkest forest lived a lion and a bear.Don't tell anyone  that they can talk.We didn't know that animals can talk. You don't them all our secrets then the lion said try to be kind to people i’m trying  said the bear it doesn't look like you're trying the lion went up to a mountain and started singing like a girl screaming the bear came and grabbed  the lion’s leg and chucked off the mountain and started singing like a girl crying when he hit the ground he meet a gorilla wassup my name is KING KONG the biggest the greatest beast of all like the king.This is my den like it said the gorilla yea said the lion the gorilla stomach  Rumbled i’m Hungry give me some bananas where said the lion find it said KING KONG when he was finding some bananas he meet with the bear are you ready to pay said the lion yup said the bear what is it said the lion NOTHING shouted the bear and he ran off and said shame then he ran to his home and Laughed the lion was chasing him when he was running the bear got a big rock and through it at the lion.Then the lion said THE END.

The Lion And The Bear (-:

On the 10 of Feb we had water fun day. We  first had the zig zag race and we had each bucket and a milk bottle with holes on the bottom.Then we had a game that we had to  fill the cup with water and race to our bin’s and tip the water in it.Then we had the slide it was the best one I had. We had to slide down and fill the bucket with water.some of us did a super man and we  back side up and slide then we had the walk the plank but we didn’t have any plank so we just ran to our bin.So that’s all for today good bye.
