 Today we learnt about statistics using mean median and mode. Mean stands for average, to find the mean you have to add all your numbers and divide the answer you got with how much numbers are there. Median is just like the middle and mode the most occurring number so like the number that appeasers the most. 

This is the data room 7 and I worked on.

Today we used multi link cubes to make 3D shapes. First I counted how much I needed then I got the right amount of multi link cubes to make it.

1. If Jennifer  had collected 765 World War ! stamps during the year, how many more stamps does she need to collect to make a total of 1200 stamps


765+435=1200

700+300=1000
60+130=190
5+5=10
1000+190+10=1200
300+130+5=435

W.A.L.T: we are learning to solve subtraction problems

8966-6698=2268.

So you can’t subtract 6 from 8 because 6 is smaller than 8 so 6 asked 60 if he can borrow 10 and so 60 gave 6 ten and 60 became 50 and 6 became 16 and 16-8=8 and 50 is smaller than 90 so 50  asked  900 if he can borrow one hundred so 900 gave 50 one hundred and 900 became 800 and 50 became 150 and 150-90=60 and 800-600=200 and 8000-6000=2000 and 2000+200+60+8=2268

For the last few weeks room 10 has been studying about statistics we learnt what is room 7 and 9's favorite sport Soane went to room 7 and I went to room 9 we both collected data from both classes. When we came back we gave the data to Mr Nath and he told us what is the favorite Sport for room 7 and 9 .
