I enjoyed making the Super Seesaw and I have done some 

research on Super Seesaw / Catapult and I learnt that it was 

made in 400 BCE by Greek dionysius the Elder.

Today i have learnt about  insulation.Insulation is about houses that is not damp,wet,cold and mouldy.That is why you have to have a insulated house.

They are made out of wool,polyester and fibreglass. These a things that you can insulate your house with.There is a video about a baby that is three months old and he went to the hospital seven times and a new zealand father and his toddler died.So like in the olden days the government said to all the builders all the houses have to be insulated but some builders didn't insulate houses and they got away with it.

Today we did a scavenger hunt in science

Did you know that

1.The lightest mammal is the Etruscan shrew.

2.Mammals are warm-blooded.This means they make their own heat.

3.Skunks are often black and white stripes.There are also skunks that are black with white spots!

4.Elephants have large ears,but poor hearing. They also have poor eyesight compared to most other mammals.Elephants are very intelligent.

5.A zebra's stripes help it to blend into the background so other animals cannot see it .Since lions and other predators of the zebra are colorblind they have trouble seeing zebras standing in tall  grassy areas.

Density

We did an experiment on Density.

Question

what happens when you drop an egg ordinary water and an egg into salt water

Observation

1.the egg in the glass ordinary water is denser.

2.the egg in the salt water because  When the  salt is poured  into the water the salty water  becomes higher than the egg will float.

Conclusion

This happens because saltwater is denser or heavier than ordinary water. It was easier for the egg to float.
