Venus was formed 4.6 billion years ago. It is named after a Roman Goddess of Love and Beauty.
It is the hottest planet in our solar system. The average temperature on Venus is 864 degrees
Fahrenheit. Venus was discovered in 1761 by Russian Polymath.


Venus is thought to be made out of central iron core, rocky mantle and silicate crust.

Also Venus is sometimes called Earth's sister because their size and mass is similar and it takes
225 days to orbit the sun. Venus has no moons.

The atmosphere on Venus is 92 time stronger than Earth. The clouds of Venus are giant acid
rain clouds.

No one has ever been on Venus because it's too hot and you will be probably be toasted.

The length of day on Venus is 116d 18h 0m. Also Venus is the brightest planet and is known
as the morning star and the evening star.

Venus is 108.2 million km away from the Sun and 261 million km away from Earth. Venus is
the only planet in the Solar System to be named after a female figure and Venus has a very weak
magnetic field.
