    Well done on this awesome new years post. It’s really cool to learn how different people are celebrating the new year and the words that are shared around the globe as new year's comes to them. Did you know we are one of the first countries to get the new year along with Samoa, Tonga, Fiji and Kiribati.

    My Dad’s a missionary in Romania and he wished me “An nou fericit” which is Happy new years in Romania and sound really similar to what you have for Italian and Latin because both Italian and Romanion are ‘Romantic’ meaning they originally came from Latin and from the Romans.
